The purpose of the HROA Marina Committee is to act as an advisory group to assist the General Manager and Board of Directors with developing marina policy and projects. The HROA Board of Directors approved the formation of this committee on February 19, 2016.
The Committee is primarily composed of experienced boaters. As with all HROA committees, membership is open to all members in good standing upon recommendation of the committee chairperson and approval by the HROA Board of Directors.
Functions and Duties
- Researching current policies
- Making recommendations on changes or additions to policies
- Identify and prioritize marina projects
- Act as a liaison between the boating community and the HROA Board of Directors
The Committee’s focus will be on the marina parking area and the area behind the card activated gates including the point, launch ramp, leased slips, rental docks, rental slips and private docks.
