Pools

The new "large" pool at Heritage Park was officially opened on October 11, 2003 at a ribbon cutting and barbeque that lasted all afternoon.  Click here for thumbprints of the festivities.  This park also features a tennis court, basketball court, a pavilion, playground area, and a dog park.   An extensive new solar system was added to heat the pool in 2005, which allows us to maintain a water temperature at around 82 degrees during much of the year.  The pool is closed during the "winter" months.

The "small" pool at Equestrian Park underwent a major overhaul including: resurfacing, a new pump, revitalized restrooms and entry to the restrooms from the park area in 2004.  This park also features tennis courts and barbeque/picnic areas on a shady corner lot.  In 2003 it received new playground equipment to entertain the youngsters.   The pool is closed during the "winter" months.
